About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Substance Use Disorder Counselor to join our team at Spokane Comprehensive Treatment Center. As a key member of our treatment team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, individualized care to patients struggling with opioid use disorder.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to patients, utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities and techniques.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account each patient's unique needs and goals.
  • Conduct initial and follow-up assessments to evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with other treatment team members to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
  • Provide crisis intervention and case management services as needed.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g. social work, counseling, psychology) or equivalent experience.
  • Washington State SUDPT or SUDP certification required.
  • Experience working in an addiction recovery and/or medication-assisted treatment (MAT) environment preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and treatment team members.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
