The Senior Director of Prospect Research and Management will lead the University's prospect research and management program, providing comprehensive research and relationship management services to gift officers. This key member of the Development team will set the vision for these areas, guide the program toward best-in-class services, and proactively identify creative solutions to complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and implement the operations of the Prospect Research and Management unit aligned with the University's fundraising goals.
- Ensure a thriving prospect pipeline, gift officers' portfolios are continually refreshed, and information and data regarding major donors and prospects are provided and tracked.
- Build relationships across University Development and serve as a key partner to development officers by leading the unit in prospect development and management.
- Provide leadership to the Prospect Research and Management team, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
- Oversee the prospect management and tracking system using Raiser's Edge NXT.
- A motivated, self-directed individual who works without close supervision to successfully lead Prospect Research and Management and support the achievement of the fundraising goals of the University.
- Strong leadership and direction skills, with the ability to set the vision for prospect research and management services.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across University Development.
- Proven ability to lead a team and provide guidance and support to team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify creative solutions to complex challenges.
