Your Role

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Specialist to enhance our HR team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Human Resources Department by executing various administrative functions, including evaluating job applications from potential candidates, managing employee records, and generating essential reports. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update records for new, current, and former employees, ensuring accuracy in details such as contact information, job roles, pay rates, and organizational structure.
  • Process and verify timekeeping data for weekly payroll using the Kronos time and attendance system.
  • Respond to routine inquiries from employees regarding benefits, compensation, and HR policies.
  • Keep precise records of active job openings and applications received; manage both internal and external job postings.
  • Conduct administrative tasks related to staffing changes, including layoffs, resignations, terminations, and extended leaves of absence.
  • Assist with record audits and compliance reports, including I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, payroll audits, and other necessary reviews.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, with 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, OR
  • An Associate's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, OR
  • A High School Diploma or GED, with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
