Capitol Services is in search of a Front Desk Receptionist to enhance our dedicated team.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage deliveries and pickups from various couriers, including USPS, FedEx, and UPS.
  • Handle the delivery, filing, and retrieval of documents from state agencies.
  • Operate a computer-based multiline switchboard system.
  • Respond to incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner, directing them as necessary.
  • Welcome clients and visitors with a friendly demeanor.
  • Receive legal documents on behalf of clients.
  • Sort, open, and distribute incoming mail accurately.
  • Assist with bulk mail projects.
  • Support the tracking and distribution of office supplies.
  • Contribute to tax and special audit projects.
  • Perform additional clerical duties as required.
  • Maintain professional and courteous communication with clients, correspondents, and colleagues.

Candidate Profile:

  • Organizational Skills: You excel at multitasking and prioritizing assignments, demonstrating keen attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
  • Communication Skills: You possess excellent verbal and written communication abilities, engaging with clients and colleagues in a professional and friendly manner. Previous experience in customer service is advantageous.

  • Coachable: You are open to receiving and implementing feedback and training, willing to ask questions to enhance your understanding of our systems.
