Position Overview

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Certifications:
HFMA - Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) is preferred.

Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible and relevant work experience is required. Prior experience in revenue management, patient financial services, and/or health information systems is preferred. Additionally, 1-2 years of statistical analysis and hospital billing experience is necessary.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Proficient in analyzing and devising solutions for complex issues.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and make informed decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while adapting to changing priorities.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts for non-financial users.
  • Ability to present data clearly and summarize results effectively.
  • Proficient in establishing and maintaining productive working relationships.
  • Familiarity with hospital and physician revenue cycle methodologies.
  • Knowledge of hospital information systems, including Epic.
  • Understanding of business analytical practices and methodologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel.
