Controller Job Description

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial reports, and developing strategies to improve financial health.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to improve the financial health of the company.
  • Manage and mentor a team of financial professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Collaborate with executive management to make decisions on financial and operational matters.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Oversee the audit process, liaise with external auditors, and manage financial risk.
  • Coordinate with tax advisors to ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
  • Evaluate and manage the company's capital structure, financing strategies, and investment activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance role, preferably as a Controller.
  • Proven expertise in financial analysis, financial reporting, financial accounting, cash flow management, and management accounting.
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
  • Knowledge of finance law and regulatory standards (GAAP).
  • Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and strategic planning skills.
  • Proficiency with accounting software, databases, and financial analysis tools.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
