Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at TCWGlobal.

About the Role

As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for driving improvements and quality initiatives across our growing Accounting & Finance organization. You will work closely with senior accounting leadership to develop strategies that prioritize scalability and value creation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with recording monthly bank activity and reconciling cleared outstanding checks daily.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliation for bank accounts and other assigned accounts, working with business partners to obtain support for any reconciling items.
  • Prepare and analyze journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting records to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies in financial data.
  • Provide support to internal and external auditors during quarterly financial reviews and year-end financial audits, including preparation of supporting documentation.
  • Adhere to key controls as identified through SOX and participate in internal process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting, analytical tools, and technical aspects of accounting procedures and practices.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in a public company setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
