Position Overview:
This is a Direct Hire Public Notice for a supervisory role within the Department of Defense. Applications are accepted for various locations, and selections will be made as vacancies arise.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Director of the Directorate Management Division (DMD), you will:

  • Exercise significant autonomy in fulfilling your responsibilities.
  • Provide expert guidance to the FSD Director, Deputy & Assistant Directors, and all Branch Directors.
  • Represent the FSD in meetings and conferences.
  • Oversee administrative functions within the FSD.

Requirements:
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following conditions:

  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Males born after a certain date must be registered or exempt from Selective Service.
  • Salary varies based on the position's location.
  • Completion of a probationary/trial period may be required.
  • Must be suitable for federal employment and participate in the direct deposit program.
  • This position is subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.
  • A Top Secret Clearance must be obtained and maintained.
  • A Financial Disclosure Statement is required.

Qualifications:
Applicants should provide detailed information regarding their work experience, including months and hours worked per week. To qualify at the GS-15 level, candidates must possess:

  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in federal service, demonstrating expertise in:
    • Overseeing and advising on administrative policies and procedures.
    • Managing contracts and acquisition processes.
    • Integrating financial and activity matters.
    • Handling human capital actions and outreach.
    • Managing special programs and providing expert advice to senior leadership.

Education:
Education cannot substitute for experience.

Evaluation Process:
Applications will be evaluated based on qualifications. Traditional rating and ranking do not apply. Your resume and supporting documents will be assessed to ensure they meet the minimum qualifications.
