The incumbent will typically be responsible for:

  • Acting as the Director of the Directorate Management Division (DMD).
  • Exercising significant autonomy in fulfilling assigned duties.
  • Providing expert guidance to the FSD Director, Deputy & Assistant Directors, and all Branch Directors.
  • Representing FSD in meetings and conferences.
  • Overseeing administrative responsibilities within FSD.

Employment Conditions:

  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Males born after a certain date must be registered or exempt from Selective Service.
  • Salary varies based on the position's location.
  • Successful completion of a probationary/trial period may be required.

Qualifications:
To qualify, applicants should have:

  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service, demonstrating abilities in:
    • Overseeing and advising on administrative policies, processes, and procedures.
    • Managing contracts and acquisition, financial integration matters, and human capital actions.
    • Providing expert advice to Directors and managing special programs.

Education:
Education cannot substitute for experience.
