Role Purpose: Facilitate the connection between employers and suitable candidates. Manage federal programs for job seekers.
Key Responsibilities
- **Data Entry Accuracy and Timeliness**: Record WIOA, WT, SNAP, and WP data into designated systems adhering to established standards. Effective communication with management and staff is essential to ensure timely receipt of records. Measurement includes achieving error rate goals as determined by state monitoring tools and participation rates for specific programs.
- **Support Case Management Initiatives**: Oversee the WT and SNAP intake and Initial Engagement processes. Conduct programmatic sessions and manage SNAP cases. Measurement includes achieving error rate goals as determined by state monitoring tools, customer satisfaction, and timeliness of support provided.
- **Compliant Case Management**: Identify and recruit eligible program participants. Recognize barriers faced by career seekers and refer them to appropriate resources (internal or external) to address these challenges. Provide career advisement, including the development of individual employment/placement plans, job referrals, and retention services. Maintain ongoing programmatic competency to ensure compliant case management. Accurately document customer interactions through detailed case notes. Measurement includes achieving contract performance metrics for assigned cases, including goals for clients served and employment rates.
- **Quality Assurance**: Ensure that case files meet or exceed programmatic requirements. Measurement includes meeting monthly self-monitoring and customer follow-up requirements, achieving an annual error rate of no greater than 3% from program monitoring.
- **Customer Satisfaction**: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering valued and timely services to both career seekers and employers. Measurement includes achieving customer survey response and rating goals.
- **Ongoing Expertise Development**: Acquire, maintain, and demonstrate ongoing programmatic competency. Measurement includes quarterly evaluation observations.
- **Additional Responsibilities**: Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of two years' experience in staffing, recruiting, or workforce development, with at least one year of experience in data entry and review.
- Previous experience in workforce development is preferred.
- Previous case management experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Comprehensive understanding of data entry and customer requirements for all funding streams.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and adhere to program policies.
- Knowledge of employment recruiting practices.
- Capacity to engage with and respond to the needs of business accounts.
- Proficient presentation skills in group settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to accurately document customer interactions through well-written case notes.
- Familiarity with Employ Florida Marketplace (EFM), One-Stop Service Tracking (OSST), and FLORIDA is preferred.
- Knowledge of business practices within specific industries is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and diverse environment.
- Strong understanding of regulatory entities and applicable laws regarding job posting and recruitment.
Educational Requirements
- An Associate's degree or equivalent experience is required.
Additional Requirements:
Must possess a valid driver's license and adequate vehicle insurance coverage.
