Role Purpose: Facilitate the connection between employers and suitable candidates. Manage federal programs for job seekers.

Key Responsibilities

  • **Data Entry Accuracy and Timeliness**: Record WIOA, WT, SNAP, and WP data into relevant systems while adhering to established standards. Effective communication with management and staff is essential to ensure timely receipt of records. Monitor achievement of error rate goals as determined by state evaluation tools; track participation rates for specific programs.
  • **Support Case Management Initiatives**: Oversee the WT and SNAP intake and Initial Engagement processes. Conduct programmatic sessions. Manage SNAP cases. Measure success through error rate goals as determined by state monitoring tools; assess customer satisfaction and the promptness of support provided.
  • **Effective Case Management**: Identify and recruit eligible program participants. Recognize barriers faced by career seekers and refer them to appropriate resources (internal or external) to address these challenges. Provide career guidance, including the creation of individual employment/placement plans, job referrals, and retention services. Maintain ongoing programmatic knowledge to ensure compliant case management. Document customer interactions with well-structured case notes. Measure success by achieving contract performance metrics for assigned cases, including goals for clients served, employment rates, and program participation; maintain an annual error rate of no more than 3% from program monitoring.
  • **Quality Assurance**: Ensure that case files comply with programmatic requirements. Measure success by meeting monthly self-monitoring and customer follow-up requirements; maintain an annual error rate of no greater than 3% from program and follow-up monitoring.
  • **Customer Satisfaction**: Uphold high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering valuable and timely services to both career seekers and employers. Measure success through customer survey responses and ratings.
  • **Expertise Development**: Acquire and demonstrate ongoing programmatic knowledge. Measure success through quarterly evaluation observations.
  • **Additional Responsibilities**: Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of two years' experience in staffing, recruiting, or workforce development, with at least one year of experience in data entry and review.
  • Previous experience in workforce development is preferred.
  • Previous case management experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Understanding of data entry and customer requirements for all funding streams.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to program policies.
  • Knowledge of employment recruitment practices.
  • Ability to engage with and respond to the needs of business accounts.
  • Proficient presentation skills in group settings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to accurately document customer interactions through well-structured case notes.
  • Familiarity with Employ Florida Marketplace (EFM), One-Stop Service Tracking (OSST), and FLORIDA is preferred.
  • Knowledge of business practices within specific industries is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and diverse environment.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory entities and applicable laws and guidelines related to job posting and recruitment, individual training accounts, employed worker training, customized training, and on-the-job training.

Educational Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience is required.

Additional Requirements:
Must possess a valid driver's license and adequate vehicle insurance coverage.
