We are currently in search of a skilled Salon Manager to oversee operations in our Newtown location. While prior salon experience is not mandatory, candidates with a background in hospitality management and a passion for the beauty industry are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become proficient in the salon's POS system to manage appointments and bookings effectively.
  • Supervise the front desk staff and ensure seamless hospitality services.
  • Organize the salon schedule to maintain optimal staffing levels.
  • Provide support and effective communication with stylists.
  • Guarantee exceptional customer service is delivered consistently.
  • Manage inventory of products and supplies, including placing orders as necessary.
  • Understand sales objectives and collaborate with stylists to achieve targets.
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of front desk personnel.
  • Clearly communicate pricing structures to clients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized salon environment.
  • Oversee support operations, including laundry and cleaning tasks.
  • Encourage a positive and enjoyable workplace culture.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to discussions.
  • Ensure compliance with a non-smoking and non-vaping policy within the salon.
  • Support marketing initiatives and social media efforts.
  • Communicate issues to the Salon Operations Manager or Owner as required.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week. Standard hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, Tuesday to Saturday, with flexibility available.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly wage ranging from $17 to $20, based on experience, with potential for advancement.
  • Weekly payment via direct deposit.
