O'neal Manufacturing Services is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management system.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor all receiving reports to ensure accuracy and quality of materials.
- Input received materials into the inventory management system in a timely and accurate manner.
- Perform physical inventory assessments as required and update the inventory management system accordingly.
- Collaborate with corporate office and site personnel to ensure timely and accurate transportation, purchasing, and inventory control.
- Prepare inventory management reports for leadership and sales staff as required.
- Add new raw material items to inventory and maintain accurate records.
- Provide high-quality work to internal and external customers.
- Maintain customer-specific inventories by tracking and working with procurement and sales teams.
- Receive return authorizations and process them accordingly.
- Maintain stock levels and evaluate site-specific purchased items.
- Perform and enter daily inventory cycle counts.
- Make quantity adjustments and notify relevant personnel.
- Review receiving and inventory-related variances.
- Review job travelers for accuracy and make adjustments as needed.
- Manage the reorder of depleted stock items and shortages.
- Assist sales in locating material required for orders.
- Collaborate with vendors and corporate purchasing to locate and expedite material.
- Work with corporate office to evaluate overstock, slow-moving, and deleted items and develop action plans for depletion.
- Enter purchase orders and manage sub-contracting systems.
