Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Representative to join our team. As a Sales Account Representative, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing, with government and public sector clients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing, with government and public sector clients.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and present tailored solutions that align the platform's value to the specific needs and challenges of government agencies, state and local organizations, and educational institutions.
- Develop strategies to navigate complex procurement processes, including RFPs and other government-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as legal and compliance, to ensure all deals comply with public sector regulations and standards.
- Serve as the main point of contact for client accounts, addressing commercial and relationship concerns with professionalism.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years of experience with selling SaaS to government or public sector clients.
- A strong understanding of public sector sales cycles, including RFPs, procurement processes, and compliance considerations.
- Strong customer-facing and presentation skills with ability to establish credibility with government and public sector leaders.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Ability to build strong personal relationships, internally and externally.

We offer a competitive salary, benefits package, and hybrid work schedule. The estimated annual salary for this role is around $85,000 - $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
