Position Overview

TriCom Quest is seeking a dedicated Field Sales Representative to represent Yakult USA, a leader in probiotic beverages. This role will primarily be remote, focusing on the Seattle, WA area and its surroundings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Location Coverage: Seattle, WA and neighboring regions.
  • Employment Type: Direct hire with comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and 401K.
  • Compensation: Hourly wage ranging from $24 to $26.
  • Mileage Reimbursement: Available for travel-related expenses.
  • Work Schedule: Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM; Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Tuesdays and Wednesdays off).
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales or merchandising within grocery chains.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and potential overtime.
  • Experience in the food and beverage sector or consumer goods is advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance are required.
  • Ability to lift items as needed without restrictions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Role Expectations
  • Act as the primary contact for assigned territories, fostering relationships with retailers and educating both store personnel and consumers.
  • Conduct visits to various grocery outlets to engage with store and dairy managers, as well as product demonstration teams.
  • Utilize sales tools effectively to negotiate increased brand visibility in the market.
  • Complete daily administrative tasks within the designated work hours.
  • Participate in special projects as directed by supervisors, which may include outreach to new business channels such as restaurants, hospitals, and universities.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and evaluate the performance of demonstrators, providing feedback to the sales team.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with supervisors and team members.
  • Engage in sampling events and activities aimed at influencers in the designated areas.
  • Additional related duties may be assigned as necessary.
