Position Overview

Rainbow Tree Company, a purpose-driven organization, is in search of a Senior Accountant to enhance our Finance department. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage designated components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closing processes.
  • Lead the development of an advanced expense reporting framework that ensures timely and precise reporting across various Business Units and departments.
  • Utilize advanced data intelligence and creativity to continuously enhance the presentation and communication of critical management information.
  • Manage aspects of the annual audit and tax procedures.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities, remain open to coaching, and collaborate with business partners and teams to achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • Cross-train in various financial team roles as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (including Pivot Tables, Lookups, and other data manipulation techniques).
  • Exceptional mathematical and analytical capabilities.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in industry or public accounting.
  • Strong public speaking and communication skills across diverse audiences and organizational levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Acumatica or similar general ledger accounting software.
  • Familiarity with Concur administration.
  • Knowledge of VENA reporting tools or comparable financial reporting platforms.
