Job Overview:

The College of Medicine at the University of Kentucky is looking for a Research Analyst to join Dr. Andrew Stewart's laboratory.

The Analyst will engage in the handling and care of small animals, conducting behavioral assessments, and executing experimental injury protocols in animal models. Responsibilities will also include laboratory management tasks such as project oversight and organization of lab resources.

Additionally, the Research Analyst will oversee MRI imaging of subjects and implement fundamental laboratory procedures, including brain processing and immunostaining techniques. The Analyst will be responsible for maintaining inventory of supplies and samples, organizing laboratory space, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing chemical and biological hazards.
