Working with horses and ponies and laboratory animals, this role involves assisting with feeding, cleaning stalls, mowing, and weed eating, as well as supporting veterinary care and research projects on the University of Kentucky's farm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the farm, including mowing and weed eating

  • Develop and maintain skills in farm work and horse handling

Requirements

  • Skills and knowledge relevant to farm work and horse handling
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 65 lbs
