Job Overview:

The College of Medicine at the University of Kentucky is looking for a Research Analyst to join Dr. Andrew Stewart's laboratory.

The Analyst will engage in the handling and care of small animals, conducting behavioral assessments, and performing experimental injury procedures on animal models. Additionally, the Analyst will oversee laboratory management tasks, including project coordination and organization of lab resources.

The Research Analyst will also be responsible for leading MRI imaging sessions and executing fundamental laboratory protocols, such as brain processing and immunostaining techniques. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory of supplies and samples, organizing the laboratory environment, ensuring safety compliance, and managing chemical and biological hazards.
