Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional General Counsel to join our team at Dream Finders Homes. The successful candidate will provide legal representation to the company and its subsidiaries, developing quality control and risk mitigation strategies for new home construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the General Counsel to develop and implement legal strategies for efficient and effective Colorado construction law compliance.
  • Manage and implement legal strategies for new home construction, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving and decision-making skills, assessing risk when business decisions are made.
  • Responsible for performance management, including annual reviews, goal setting, and providing ongoing feedback.
  • Effectively communicate and work with employees and internal divisions.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
  • Handle CDARA claims.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Law degree.
  • Barred in Colorado and physically located in Colorado.
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable presenting ideas and solutions to leadership and key business partners.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a group setting.
Work Environment

Physical Demands
