We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to lead our culinary team at FAVORITE BISTRO. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet customer preferences
- Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and safety to maintain high standards
- Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and storage to minimize waste and optimize resources
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date with culinary trends, techniques, and regulations to maintain our competitive edge
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen
- Proven track record of menu development, kitchen management, and team leadership
- Excellent culinary skills, including cooking techniques, menu planning, and food safety
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
