About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Development Manager to join our team at Winebow. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and executing strategic plans to maximize the distribution and marketing of our suppliers' products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Overall Brand Strategy: Utilize internal data, market research, and competitive intelligence to create a comprehensive brand strategy that drives sales and profits.
  • Collaborate with Sales Team: Work closely with sales leaders to ensure that brand strategy is effectively translated into marketplace activities.
  • Brand Performance Monitoring: Attend monthly brand meetings, prepare and present recaps on brand accomplishments, and provide depletion and goal reviews of brands by suppliers.
  • Market Support: Work in the market with the sales team to visit key accounts and support the marketing of our brands.
  • Supplier Relationships: Develop strong relationships and communication with assigned suppliers, including follow-up as needed.
  • Pricing and Troubleshooting: Act as the point person on pricing and troubleshoot pricing issues.
  • Brand Training: Provide appropriate brand training to the sales force, including presentations and marketing materials.
  • Goal Achievement: Meet agreed-upon goals and objectives effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Time Management: Arrive on time for work, appointments, meetings, and other work-related functions.
  • Special Events: Coordinate special events for internal staff and external suppliers/customers.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required, with a concentration in Marketing or Business Administration preferred.
  • Experience: Three plus years' experience working in the wine industry in either a marketing or sales position.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal relationship skills, superior follow-through, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with limited supervision.
  • Technical Skills: Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as working knowledge of Diver and Navision applications.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license required.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a salary range of $80,000 - $100,000, with a bonus of 12% eligible. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, 401k with company match, employee purchase program, and paid time off.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position, working in our Kent, WA location on Tuesday-Thursday and remote on other days, except as needed for special meetings or events.
