The Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) serves as a vital caregiver, taking on the responsibility for evaluating, planning, implementing, and assessing patient care. This role employs the nursing process through the integration of technology, therapeutic interventions, evidence-based practices, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Position Details:

  • Shift Information: Full-time, Night shifts (Shift differential available)
  • Relocation assistance may be offered to qualified external candidates

Essential Qualifications:

We value individuals over resumes, yet we uphold high standards, which is why we require:

  • ASN/ADN from an accredited institution with the ability to achieve a BSN within four years of hire, unless possessing a minimum of fifteen years of continuous RN experience in an acute care environment.
  • Current RN license in Colorado or a compact license with the capability to obtain a Colorado RN license.
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain it within sixty days of hire (with prior approval). ACLS/NRP/PALS as applicable for the unit or service.
  • A minimum of three years of nursing experience is required.

Physical Demands:

Employees must have the ability to see and read information, assess patient needs, operate medical equipment, and communicate effectively with patients and care providers. This includes:

  • Manual dexterity for handling intricate equipment and frequent computer use.
  • Physical capability to lift and transfer patients, bend to retrieve supplies, and navigate busy environments.
  • Standing for extended periods and assisting with patient mobility.
