Job Summary and Qualifications:

Position Summary:

The Critical Care Registered Nurse delivers age-appropriate care to patients based on criteria that is tailored to their physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs.

The Registered Nurse may rotate to different areas beyond their usual assigned service area and will perform only those duties for which they have demonstrated competency.

The Registered Nurse executes delegated duties consistent with their scope of practice and operates within the philosophy and overall care delivery plan at NSMC.

The Registered Nurse exhibits positive support for NSMC and the entire HealthONE organization, caring for geriatric, adult, and adolescent patient populations.



Position Requirements:
A

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or a current active multistate Registered Nurse license. Current AHA or ARC BLS Certification and current AHA or ARC ACLS required.

Education:
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.

Experience:
1 to 2 years of acute care/specialty nursing preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrates strong organizational skills. Provides safe and appropriate patient care within the Standards of Nursing Practice at NSMC. Displays sound judgment and problem-solving abilities. Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external stakeholders.
