Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Western State Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in the State of Virginia. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing quality nursing care to our patients, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and maintaining patient records.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest nursing practices and technologies.

Requirements
  • Current LPN licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia or eligibility for licensure.
  • Knowledge of illness and treatment modalities, including medication administration.
  • Ability to implement nursing care plans and provide guidance to other staff members.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
