Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Liberty Point Behavioral Healthcare. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our adolescent male patients who are experiencing complex emotional, behavioral, and educational difficulties.

About the Role:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct crisis interventions and de-escalation techniques to ensure patient safety.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Current license to practice nursing in the State of Virginia (or eligible to receive or renew).
  • Current CPR or BLS certification (can renew as part of New Employee Orientation).
  • Ability to successfully complete and pass all components of Handle With Care & Verbal De-escalation Crisis Intervention Training.
  • Ability to use and supervise Handle With Care (HWC) techniques.
