- Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Current license to practice nursing in the State of Virginia (or eligible to receive or renew).
- Current CPR or BLS certification (can be renewed as part of New Employee Orientation).
- Ability to successfully complete and pass all components of Handle With Care & Verbal De-escalation Crisis Intervention Training.
- Ability to use and supervise Handle With Care (HWC) techniques.
