Position Overview:

We are in search of a highly qualified and experienced contract-to-hire Precision Mechanical Assembler to become part of our innovative team in the manufacturing sector.

The successful candidate will be tasked with assembling, fitting, and soldering components to produce intricate electromechanical devices. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the effectiveness, dependability, and durability of our offerings. This position demands a profound understanding of electromechanical assembly, exceptional attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install, and fine-tune mechanical components in accordance with specifications and conduct tests for optimal performance.
  • Examine, test, and adjust finished products to guarantee compliance with specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements.
  • Interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams to ascertain assembly methods and sequences.
  • Utilize various hand tools and equipment such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, and screwdrivers.
  • Install electrical and electronic components and hardware within assemblies, employing soldering tools and hand tools.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to resolve failures and issues identified through testing.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the manufacturing team.
  • Assess and suggest modifications to engineering designs as needed to enhance product performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain assembly documentation, records, and reports as required.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and uphold a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in electromechanical assembly within the manufacturing field.
  • Proficient in interpreting complex blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
  • Strong understanding of valves, fittings, and soldering techniques.
  • Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Capability to operate a variety of hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or training are advantageous.
  • Commitment to following all safety protocols and procedures.
