Senior Operations Research Analyst

Position Overview:
The Senior Operations Research and Systems Analyst role is pivotal in merging operational insights with advanced technical skills. This position leverages a diverse array of both established and innovative analytical methodologies to support and enhance leadership decisions in a dynamic global landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize quantitative and qualitative analysis, alongside data analytics and data science, to inform military decision-making and institutional frameworks.
- Develop and implement probability models, statistical inference, simulations, optimization techniques, data analysis, and data visualization.
- Engage in various disciplines including personnel management, doctrine and force development, training management, system testing, system acquisition, decision analysis, and resource management.
- Contribute to tactical, operational, and strategic planning across multiple levels, from division commands to the highest echelons of the Department of Defense.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Operations Research and Systems Analyst, particularly in support of Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution within the Department of Defense.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Access.
- Strong understanding of military training and operational procedures.
- Capability to create and deliver analytical reports and presentations for senior military personnel.
- Possession of a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Army Operations Research or Systems Analysis Functional Area 49.
- Familiarity with Army Training management and resource allocation.
- Experience overseeing an Army Program Evaluation Group.
- Background as a military or civilian ORSA action officer on the Army Staff.
- Top Secret clearance is preferred.
- Master's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, Data Science, or Statistics.
- Graduate of Command and General Staff College or equivalent educational institution.
Clearance Requirements:
Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.

The compensation for this position is influenced by various factors, including location, individual qualifications, and organizational requirements. The anticipated salary range for this role is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 annually.
Work Environment:
Our culture emphasizes flexibility and collaboration, whether in-person or remote. If this position is designated as remote or hybrid, you will occasionally work from a Booz Allen or client site facility. For onsite roles, in-person collaboration with colleagues and clients is expected as necessary.
