Summary: Group W is seeking a highly skilled Operations Research Analyst with expertise in AFSIM, EADSIM, or similar modeling systems to conduct in-depth analyses of military planning operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in various levels of modeling and simulation techniques applicable to military engagements.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Physics, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline, or a master's degree accompanied by 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Possession of an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience, or a master's degree with:
    • At least 2 years of experience in engagement or mission-level analysis utilizing models such as AFSIM, Brawler, or EADSIM.
    • 3 years of experience in analyzing management or operational challenges, with the capability to develop and apply mathematical models and optimization methods to aid decision-making and policy development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Operations Research, Physics, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
  • 5 or more years of experience in engagement or mission-level analysis using models like AFSIM, Brawler, or EADSIM.
  • 10 or more years of experience in analyzing management or operational issues, with the ability to formulate and apply mathematical modeling and optimization techniques.
  • Prior military experience at the theater or joint task force level, with skills in planning and operational assessments; experience in developing R scripts for data processing and visualization.
  • Completion of professional military education at or above MEL-4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes advanced analytical, mathematical, and statistical techniques for comprehensive analysis, including parametric and non-parametric methods, computer modeling, simulation, decision theory, and regression analysis.
  • Acts as a senior analyst responsible for creating and implementing analytical models that support military operations from engagement to campaign levels.
  • Develops and manages mission and campaign-level models, databases, and analyses concerning U.S., allied, and adversary forces in military operations.
  • Provides guidance to other analysts, scientists, or engineers on the most effective techniques for specific analytical challenges.

Compensation: Salary range is $105,000 - $150,000, based on relevant experience, education, and market factors.
