Job Overview

Position: Operations Research Analyst - Mid to Senior Level

Location: Arlington, VA

Summary: Group W is seeking an experienced Operations Research Analyst to assist our Department of Defense client in the planning and coordination of exercises.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in fields such as industrial engineering, systems engineering, management science, operations research, or a related applied science discipline.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Possession of an active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations research.
  • Proven ability to develop and present analytical findings to both internal and external leadership.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on active listening.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize extensive knowledge of modeling and simulation to aid in exercise planning, coordination, demonstrations, and training.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to others on methodologies and the operation of simulation models and exercises.
  • Advise fellow operations research analysts, scientists, or engineers on the most effective techniques for addressing assigned challenges.
  • Clearly convey study outcomes to analysts and senior leadership.

Compensation: $120,000 to $160,000 (This range is provided as a general guideline. Actual compensation will depend on relevant work experience, education, training, and market factors).
