Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Mt. Hood Community College. This is a full-time position that will provide administrative support to our instructional programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to assigned instructional programs and services, including scheduling, budgeting, and record-keeping.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings, events, and activities related to instructional programs and services.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports, including budget reports, enrollment reports, and other relevant data.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of instructional programs and services.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience providing administrative coordination and direct administrative support to a complex program or department.
  • Basic skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required; intermediate skill in Excel or other spreadsheet software preferred.
  • Experience working with diverse backgrounds of the college's community, students, and employees; demonstrated commitment to promoting access and diversity.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires working in a standard office environment with occasional excessive noise and/or olfactory sensitivity. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
