Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Representative to join our team at Maine Course Hospitality Group. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a memorable stay from reservation to check-out.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing a warm welcome to our hotel.
  • Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries or requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Process payments and handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and securely.
  • Manage the operations of the front desk, including check-in and check-out, to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
  • Assist guests with reservations, room assignments, and other requests as needed.
  • Manage guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment for guests.
  • Complete daily reports and balance cash drawers to ensure accuracy and accountability.
  • Follow all hotel procedures and policies to ensure compliance and quality service.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in customer service or hospitality, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player, with a positive and flexible attitude.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds, with a physical stamina to meet the demands of the role.
  • Must be reliable and able to work weekends and holidays, with a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests.
