MyKelly is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Technician to join a leading company in the Construction Equipment, Off Highway Equipment, and Agriculture Equipment sectors.

Compensation:
$40.00 per hour based on experience

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Typical Responsibilities:
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on diesel engines and components in various machinery.
  • Diagnose complex diesel engine issues accurately and perform necessary repairs.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding repair tasks.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through thorough quality control.
  • Operate machinery to identify problems and inspect for defects.
  • Maintain and repair heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, and dozers.
  • Perform basic welding tasks as needed.
  • Respond to emergency calls as directed by management.

This role may be ideal for you if you:
  • Hold a valid driver's license (additional compensation for CDL holders).
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and reliability.
  • Have experience with diesel engine brands such as Cummins, CAT, and International.
  • Possess mechanical skills in areas like hydraulics, brakes, and transmissions.
  • Are physically capable of lifting and performing tasks without restrictions.
  • Have a technical degree or certification related to the field.
  • Understand maintenance of construction equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Hold MSHA certification.
