Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify and address any issues or defects.
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians to complete maintenance tasks and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance performed, including reports and documentation.
  • Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in vehicle maintenance preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in vehicle maintenance or completion of a recognized apprenticeship program.
  • ASE certifications and Class A CDL preferred.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment and components.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Exposure to heavy traffic areas and varying weather conditions.
  • Exposure to dust, diesel fumes, and noise.
  • May be required to drive company vehicles and perform work at off-site locations.
