Typical Responsibilities:
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on diesel engines and components across various vehicles and machinery.
  • Diagnose complex diesel engine issues accurately and efficiently, implementing necessary repairs.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and service teams regarding repair processes.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through meticulous quality control of completed work.
  • Operate machinery to identify problems and inspect for defects.
  • Maintain and repair heavy machinery, including excavators, loaders, and dozers.
  • Perform basic welding tasks as needed.
  • Respond to after-hours emergency service calls as directed.
This position may be ideal for you if you:
  • Hold a valid driver's license (additional compensation for CDL holders).
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and reliability.
  • Have experience with diesel engine systems such as Cummins, CAT, and International (preferred).
  • Possess mechanical skills in areas like hydraulics, brakes & suspension, manual and automatic transmissions (desired but not mandatory).
  • Are physically capable of lifting and working without restrictions.
  • Have a technical degree or certification (beneficial).
  • Understand construction equipment maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel, and gasoline systems.
  • Hold MSHA certification.
