Search Inc. is seeking a Manager of Supported Living Services to oversee multiple Supported Living Program locations. Position Summary: In the role of Manager of Supported Living Services, you will be tasked with directing the services and support provided to individuals across various program sites. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the prompt and precise completion of service planning documentation, addressing medical care requirements, and upholding high-quality standards at each location. Collaboration with departments such as Adult Learning, Medical, and Behavioral Health will be essential. The position will also involve on-call duties.

We are looking for a full-time Manager of Supported Living Services. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM.

Compensation: $68,000-$72,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative and professional duties,
  • Support the mission and values of Search Inc.,
  • Act as a mentor and role model for assigned staff, fostering skill development and competency,
  • Exhibit leadership by collaborating with colleagues, promoting teamwork, and creatively solving problems from an organizational perspective,
  • Represent Search Inc. professionally to family members, guardians, community stakeholders, and affiliated agencies,
  • Engage actively in committees and task forces,
  • Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines,
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary team meetings for each individual on your caseload, ensuring participation from all relevant team members,
  • Verify that services outlined in the service plan are delivered,
  • Ensure program staff are trained in specific behavioral approaches,
  • Oversee the completion of staffing, service plans, assessments, and progress reports within established timelines,
  • Maintain accurate and current individual information in the Harmony system and master files,
  • Ensure all medical needs are addressed by accompanying individuals to appointments and coordinating follow-up care,
  • Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to ensure incident reports are completed and processed according to policy,
  • Adhere to personnel policies as outlined in the employee handbook,
  • Understand agency policies regarding hiring, training, and employee management,
  • Supervise employee schedules, approve leave requests, and manage payroll in accordance with deadlines,
  • Provide on-call support during nights and weekends on a rotating basis,
  • Understand and comply with Corporate Compliance policies and state/federal regulations related to services provided by Search Inc.,
  • Complete vehicle maintenance reports as necessary,
  • Achieve 12 continuing education credits annually as required for QIDPs,
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Individual Engagement:

  • Exhibit kindness, flexibility, and responsiveness in meeting individual and program needs,
  • Ensure medical needs are met compassionately and efficiently,
  • Participate in developing individual behavioral strategies and tracking progress,
  • Provide direct supervision and advocacy for individuals during medical appointments,
  • Offer supportive counseling and problem-solving assistance during crises, requiring on-call availability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human services or related field,
  • Meet the DHS qualifications for a QIDP in Illinois,
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience preferred,
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards, including DHS Rules and CQL standards,
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 44 lbs. and perform basic physical tasks,
  • Basic computer skills,
  • CPR and First Aid certification,
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance,
  • Ability to be certified as a driver through PACE Vanpool.
