AMT is engaged in multiple long-term Engineering and Survey On-Call contracts with various state and local agencies, providing services such as transportation surveys, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, 3D scanning, and construction stakeout.

AMT has established a reliable system that allows field staff to travel directly to and from job sites, promoting a healthy work-life balance while achieving project objectives. Office visits are reserved for project kickoffs and debriefings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and direct the field survey process.
  • Maintain accurate daily records, notes, and sketches of work performed.
  • Conduct boundary, topographic, and construction surveys, along with other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in surveying.
  • Experience with MDOT/SHA and DCDOT for upcoming contracts.
  • Proficient in field surveying techniques and operation of surveying instruments, including GPS, engineering design software, total stations, and data collectors.
  • Familiarity with CAD and Office Suite.
  • Possess a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new skills and grow both personally and professionally.
