Job Title: Patient Access Specialist

At Syneos Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our access and reimbursement team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients have access to the medical treatments they need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as an extension of the HUB, providing reimbursement education and support to patients and healthcare providers.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure that patient access initiatives contribute to the achievement of business objectives.
  • Provide education on operational requirements and ensure compliance with FDA, federal, and state level regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, including hospitals, pharmacies, and community mental health centers.
  • Direct customers to key education resources and provide support with reimbursement questions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 5 years' experience in healthcare sales or a related field.
  • Understanding and experience in the access and reimbursement landscape.
  • Experience in building customer relationships and managing large accounts.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving/exceeding responsibilities, goals, and objectives.
  • Current driver's license and clean driving record, with the ability to travel overnight up to 30%.
Desired Requirements:
  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
  • 2+ years demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the mental health market.
  • Working knowledge of the targeted geographical area and local healthcare environment.
  • Ability to utilize customer relationships and develop traditional and non-traditional customer relationships to further business opportunities.
