Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative 1 to join our team at The University of Miami. As a key member of our Patient Access department, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Collect and process patient financial information, including co-pays, deductibles, and self-pay responsibilities
  • Verify patient demographics and insurance information
  • Manage patient access registration processes, including check-in and check-out procedures
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • One year of customer service experience required; experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Bilingual skills a plus
