Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Leadership Program (MLP) Engineer - Class of 2025 is a three-year rotational program that provides an opportunity to develop and advance cutting-edge technology that supports national defense services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing methods, operation sequences, and processes used in General Dynamics Mission Systems production.
- Estimate manufacturing costs, determine project time standards, and recommend tools and processes for new and existing product lines.
- Provide guidance to fellow engineers, helping them to enhance organizational design concepts and manufacturing techniques.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Practice creative thinking and ideation to advance business performance.
- Deliver innovative, flexible, integrated solutions to meet customers' changing business needs.
- Support and engage in programs, projects, and practices behind the GDMS culture and strategy, and comply with all policies and procedures.
- Follow industry and department trends and developments to ensure GDMS services are consistent with, and/or superior to, industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related specialized area or field.
- Agile experience preferred.
- GPA 3.0 (minimum); 3.6 Preferred.
- Demonstrated Leadership.
- Critical Thinking.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills.
- High Motivation.
