Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Project Engineer to lead cross-functional teams within manufacturing in support of our Embedded Systems business unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the overall manufacturing execution of programs, including cost, schedule, quality, and delivery objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure the health of overall programs.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to ensure successful program execution.
  • Analyze and monitor budgets and schedules to ensure program objectives are met.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field.
  • 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree.
  • Experience with manufacturing operations, process development, and control.
  • Experience with project performance, cost, scope, and schedule management.
  • Ability to foster cross-functional collaboration and analytic problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with new product introduction manufacturing and transitioning new programs from development to production.
  • Ability to assess risk and scope changes that may impact program cost and schedule.
  • Proficient understanding of earned value tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing, technical, government, and industry standards.
