Resideo is seeking a Senior Design Manufacturing Engineer to collaborate with factory and engineering teams to ensure product design meets factory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience with product DFM checking, manufacturing processes, and factory testing.


Key Responsibilities:


Review BOMs, design PCB panels, and check DFM&DFT issues with the engineering team and factory.

Manage Valor NPI and other manufacturing tools, including library and tool upgrades.


Collaborate with Resideo factory and OEM factory to design, develop, and maintain PCBA and Assembly DFM and DFT Procedures and Checklists.

Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve manufacturing issues.

Optimize design with PCB vendors and engineers for producibility, reliability, and cost.

Generate SA Assembly drawing files for factory manufacturing.

Support ECAD Librarians and Component Engineering to ensure ECAD Library Parts and Component Specification Content meet PCBA DFM requirements.

Provide training and guidance on manufacturing and quality processes and best practices.


Drive continuous manufacturing processes improvement initiatives, monitor, and analyze production metrics.

Maintain, develop, and test Valor NPI ERF rules based on vendor and factory requirements.

Requirements:
2+ years of experience with Valor NPI tool.

5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering support responsibilities.

Knowledge of PCB fabrication processes and IPC standards.

We Value:
Experience with high-volume consumer electronic products manufacturing is desired.

Technical background of DFM and DFT guidelines and checklists.

Manufacturing working experience in factory.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and cost reductions.

Small team management experience is a plus.
