Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Consultant for Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Lenders, your primary focus will be on enhancing relationships with regional and community lenders.

You will spearhead the sales strategy and objectives aimed at increasing CoStar's revenue while guaranteeing outstanding service delivery to our key lender partners at all organizational levels.


  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive regional account strategy in collaboration with the Senior Director of Lending and Risk Analytics.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key clients to boost retention and drive additional sales within those accounts, while consistently sharing and implementing best practices in sales.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with essential stakeholders, including business partners and senior management.
  • Work alongside field sales teams to support the achievement of team objectives in local offices.
  • Identify and sell to a designated list of unsold firms within the lending account sector.
  • Represent CoStar by participating in industry events and networking with professionals in commercial real estate.

Basic Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • A proven track record of commitment to previous employers.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Successful completion of a Driving Record check prior to employment.

External applicants should have:
  • A minimum of seven years of sales experience managing strategy and senior-level relationships with key accounts in financial services, business intelligence, SaaS, or data analytics.

Internal applicants should have:
  • At least five years of sales experience, including 18 months at a CoStar Sales Executive level or higher, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • A demonstrated history of rapidly achieving revenue growth targets.
  • Experience selling to large national accounts at the C-level for three or more years.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience in the Commercial Real Estate sector, selling to owners, investors, and brokers.
  • Success in cultivating long-term relationships and business partnerships with high-level clients.
  • Ability to analyze data, develop reporting, and make strategic recommendations based on insights and trends.
  • Exceptional customer service and account management capabilities.
  • Strong internal relationship-building skills across various levels of the organization.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a high-growth environment.
