About the Role

The analyst will have primary responsibility for financial analysis and modeling across all product types. This role will have exposure to new developments, value-add acquisitions, and ongoing asset management across the country. A successful applicant will have expertise in both Argus Enterprise, Excel, and PowerPoint. The candidate will be a high-potential individual with a substantial opportunity to take on further responsibilities as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain asset models for underwriting, projection, reporting, and valuation purposes
  • Create detailed asset-level reporting, as well as investment committee memorandum as necessary
  • Perform analysis on potential lease deals and compare to underwriting
  • Assist in the Due Diligence and Closing process for new acquisitions/developments
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for capital partners
  • Create effective written and multimedia presentations to communicate with lenders and investors
  • Perform detailed market research and analysis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university
  • 1-3 years of commercial real estate and underwriting experience with a developer/owner or advisory firm
  • High proficiency in Excel, Argus, PowerPoint
  • Eagerness to work hard in a less structured, small team environment
  • Solution-oriented with a demonstrated ability to think strategically and add value
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
