Los Angeles, California, United States Arc Boat Company Full time
Job Overview

About Us
At Arc Boat Company, we are on a mission to revolutionize the marine industry by electrifying waterborne vessels, starting with innovative electric water sport boats.

Our Vision
We believe that the dominance of gas-powered boats is not due to superior offerings but rather a lack of viable alternatives. Traditional boats often present challenges such as unreliability, high operational costs, and environmental harm. In contrast, our electric boats provide enhanced reliability, lower costs, and a cleaner, quieter experience.

Your Role
We are seeking an individual who shares our passion and is ready to embrace the challenges of a startup environment. Reporting directly to the Operations Lead, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a dynamic team responsible for all facets of Arc's facilities.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to optimize our physical space for scalable manufacturing.
  • Identify and resolve current facilities-related challenges while preparing for future growth.
  • Evaluate and implement programs to minimize unexpected disruptions across various maintenance services.
  • Manage all facilities projects, including proposal development, budget management, and project completion.
  • Negotiate contracts to maximize return on investment for facilities-related services.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years in facilities management, construction, or a related discipline.
  • Comprehensive experience in multiple areas of facilities management, including permitting and maintenance.
  • Proven ability to lead teams with a focus on performance.
  • Strong project management skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Experience in scaling manufacturing operations and managing physical spaces for growing companies.
  • Extensive experience working with contractors and managing their performance.
  • Familiarity with blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Hands-on approach to projects when necessary to enhance efficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional engineering license with the ability to approve construction plans.
  • Experience in scaling operations and expanding a company's physical footprint.
  • Strong understanding of blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Able to maintain a sustainable pace in a fast-paced environment.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for boating and clean energy initiatives.

Our Values
At Arc, we prioritize:

  • Ownership of your work and the company's success.
  • Empathy towards colleagues and customers.
  • Humility in problem-solving and collaboration.
  • Pragmatism in navigating challenges effectively.
  • Inclusion of diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

What We Offer
Joining Arc means being part of a talented team that challenges you to grow. You will have access to a variety of business activities and a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $175,000, along with semi-annual bonuses based on impact, equity stake opportunities, and comprehensive health benefits.

We look forward to connecting with you soon.
