Skydance Media LLC is seeking a Facilities Operations Manager to enhance the daily functions of our expanding animation studio. This role will report directly to the Vice President of Operations and will be instrumental in overseeing all animation office environments across the United States.

This position involves managing a campus transition, supervising onsite facilities personnel, and spearheading operational initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in shaping a positive workplace experience, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment, and fostering a culture that thrives on creativity and artistic expression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage daily office operations, including vendor oversight, janitorial services, HVAC systems, pantry management, and furniture logistics.
  • Collaborate with the corporate operations team on office downsizing and relocation projects.
  • Establish standard operating procedures for new office locations and optimize existing processes.
  • Supervise reception and operations staff, instilling a customer service-oriented mindset within the team.
  • Manage space planning and employee relocations, maintaining accurate floor plans and seating arrangements.
  • Work closely with Human Resources and IT to facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding, including workspace setup and access management.
  • Oversee health and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations and OSHA standards.
  • Coordinate the procurement of furniture and office supplies, addressing all facility-related requests.
  • Administer the facilities budget and manage vendor invoicing.
  • Oversee meeting and workspaces, including room reservations, maintenance, and setups for Skydance Animation staff and occasionally for associated companies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners and contractors to ensure optimal facilities support.
  • Assist in planning company cultural events and meetings, including supply procurement and setup.
  • Collaborate with executives and department heads to implement studio initiatives.
  • Foster a professional and supportive workplace atmosphere.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in office management or facilities operations.
  • Experience in managing relocations.
  • Proven track record in team leadership.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Adaptable team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in various software applications including Adobe Acrobat, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Suite.
