Planet Interactive is seeking a Sustainability Program Manager to support a leading financial services organization on a 6-month contract.

The Sustainability Program Manager will play a crucial role in the daily oversight of CTW initiatives – a flagship volunteering program designed to harness the skills and time of employees to foster meaningful community impact. This position will manage a diverse portfolio of over 200 volunteer initiatives across the metropolitan areas.

Core Responsibilities of the Sustainability Program Manager:

  • Manage a comprehensive portfolio of volunteer initiatives to ensure program effectiveness, enhance stakeholder engagement, and cultivate partnerships with local organizations.
  • Oversee project planning and application assessments; maintain project details on the program's internal platform; act as the primary liaison for nonprofits and internal partners; handle grant processing; manage program administration and reporting; and coordinate transportation logistics.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to facilitate ongoing logistical arrangements, including events, marketing efforts, material distribution, and communication drafting.
  • Assist in the evaluation of the CTW program at its conclusion, including the collection and analysis of relevant data.
  • Provide project management assistance for key components of various pro bono projects, including nonprofit application assessments, presentation preparation, and logistical planning.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.

Desired Skills for the Sustainability Program Manager:

  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in volunteer coordination, client relations, event management, operations, or Corporate Social Responsibility.
  • A strong passion for corporate philanthropy and community involvement.
  • A proactive and collaborative team player adept at managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with moderate supervision.
  • Critical thinking skills with sound judgment and effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in nonprofit operations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for data analysis.
  • Exemplary integrity, professionalism, diplomacy, and discretion.
