About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Program Director to lead our energy management efforts and advance our sustainability initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to reduce energy consumption and costs across our campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Energy Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive energy management system to optimize energy efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Project Management: Oversee energy-related projects, including energy studies, capital projects, and energy management programs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with facilities staff, consultants, and vendors to establish and implement energy reduction plans and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Data Analysis: Manage and analyze energy data to track energy use, carbon emissions, and other key performance metrics.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including staff, faculty, and external partners.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in energy management, with a focus on commercial or industrial settings.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications: LEED AP or other relevant certifications a plus.
