Account Executive

At PayNearMe, we're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be instrumental in driving our growth by acquiring new business within the Bank and Credit Union verticals, with a focus on lending solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategically grow our footprint in the lending sector, concentrating on banks and credit unions.
- Conduct daily business development activities, including market research, lead engagement, and targeted account prospecting.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and bi-annual sales quotas, while maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
- Attain mastery of our product suite, ensuring you can address client needs and challenges effectively.
- Challenge prospective clients' current business processes and introduce innovative technologies to solve legacy system issues.
- Identify key decision-makers and understand the unique business challenges for each persona.
- Respond to Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI) promptly and comprehensively.
- Collaborate with internal teams, providing market insights to shape the evolution of our product offerings and strategy.
- 5+ years of sales experience with a strong focus on payments.
- Proven experience selling Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP) solutions to banks and/or credit unions.
- Thorough understanding of lending processes, payments systems, and regulatory frameworks, particularly within auto, mortgage, credit card, and personal lending segments.
- Proven ability to engage and present to senior-level executives.
- Familiarity with the Challenger Sales Methodology is a plus.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking, leveraging data-driven insights to shape sales approaches and grow revenue.
- Self-driven and results-focused, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficient in CRM tools and sales software for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting-Salesforce expertise is preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to travel as needed for client engagement and industry events.
- Great compensation package, including a base salary of $75,000 (paid semi-monthly) and a variable component of $100,000.
